Activity Guide Cover Photo Contest


Summertime at Grand Junction Parks and Recreation is filled with the outdoors, smiles, laughs, sunshine, and a whole lot of RECreating... and we want YOU to be a part of that!

Our 2nd Annual Summer Activity Guide Cover Photo Contest kicks off in January, so round up your top photos and get ready to submit them for public choice voting!

Entries will be accepted January 12, 2018, through March 9, 2018. You may submit your photos to our Marketing Department by:
1. Emailing a copy of the photo (Actual Size) to callieb@gjcity.org    OR
2. Delivering them in person to our office located at 1340 Gunnison Avenue. We recommend either on a USB drive, or a CD.

PLEASE NOTE: If you email your submissions, you will receive confirmation for photos you have submitted. If you do not receive an emailed confirmation within 48 business hours, please re-email photo submissions or call 970-254-3867 to confirm status. If for some reason you are unable to email your submissions, please contact Callie Berkson at callieb@gjcity.org or 970-254-3867 to make other arrangements. Grand Junction Recreation Staff will choose a series of finalists based on the provided criteria by March 16 (Please see below for criteria). All finalist photos will be put out for a pubilc vote March 19 - March 25. The photo with the most social media likes via Facebook and Instagram, will be announced Monday, March 26 at 9:00AM (Mountain Time) as the 2018 Summer Activity Guide Cover Contest winner! The winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to be redeemed towards any Grand 
Junction Parks and Recreation program, event, pass, punch card, 
or Aquatics Membership (excluding golf).
