The City of Grand Junction Utilities Department provides over 31,000 homes and businesses with one or more of the following services: water, sewer, trash and irrigation. If you are purchasing a home, your title company should establish service for your new address. However, it is always a good idea to follow up and verify your account information with us. If you are renting, leasing or a homeowner that does not have an existing City utility account, you will need to fill out a Residential Application for Utility Service.
You can download the Residential Application for Utility Services or you can pick one up at City Hall, located at 250 N 5th Street. When you return your completed application to City Hall, please bring a valid ID with you. Homeowners will also need to bring a copy of their property deed to prove ownership. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
The City of Grand Junction offers many ways for you to receive and pay your utility statement. There is a free auto draft program that debits funds directly from a checking or savings account. For a small fee, payments can be made with a credit card or electronic check in person, over the web, or via our 24-hour phone system. We accept cash or check payments at City Hall during regular business hours. With eBill-Online, you can go paperless by choosing to receive your bill via email, instead of receiving a paper copy.
For more information on these services, please contact our office at 970-244-1579.
