The Human Resources Department ensures effective selection, development and retention of the City's workforce. This includes:
Policy and procedure development
Salary and fringe benefit administration
Testing and selection

Administration of the City's workers' compensation program
Administration of recognition and incentive programs
Coordination of citywide training and development programs
Development and administration of internships and school to work programs
Development and administration of workplace safety and loss control programs
