The City of Grand Junction celebrates Arbor Day and Earth Day with the annual Southwest Arbor Fest at Lincoln Park on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. A variety of activities and events will take place throughout the day. Schedule of events. Free tree seedlings will be available outside the Lincoln Park Pool entrance.

Southwest Arbor Fest is one of the longest running events presented by the Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Department. The annual event brings thousands of people to Lincoln Park to enjoy food, beer, music, and, of course, the trees. New to Southwest Arbor Fest this year is Electronics Recycling sponsored by Alpine Bank. Each vehicle is allowed to recycle 40 pounds at no charge. Anything weighing more than 40 pounds will incur a small fee. Electronics Recycling details
