The city is utilizing Xcel’s Partners in Energy, a free consultation service, to lead the creation of the plan. In addition to attending the open house, input can be provided on

Nearly 10 percent of newly-registered vehicles in Colorado in 2022 were EVs, making the state a top-five national leader in EV adoption. Collaborating with XCEL Energy’s “Partners in Energy” program enables Grand Junction to access charging infrastructure funding and rebate opportunities to help realize this goal. In addition, an EV Action Team has been formed comprised of a diverse group of community stakeholders to guide the development and completion of the plan with input and suggestions gathered from the community.
