Each year the City provides opportunities for the public to provide input regarding the City’s budget for the coming year. This process begins with asking for ideas about what community members would like to see included in the City budget for 2024. A meeting is being held on Monday, August 7 at 5 p.m. in the Auditorium at City Hall (250 N. 5th St.). The public is invited to bring their ideas and hear more about the budget process.
The recommended budget will be presented to City Council during the month of October at several City Council workshops which are streamed and open to the public. All of the budget documents are also posted to the City website. City Council may make changes to the recommended budget and at meetings in November and December, discuss and ultimately adopt the budget.
