Waterline Replacement Project Phase 1
- Chipeta Avenue from 7th Street to 12th Street
- White Avenue from 9th Street to 12th Street
- During construction, both streets will be closed to thru traffic
- Both streets will be closed to thru traffic
- Access for residents will be provided
- No on street parking
- Anticipated Completion- Late August
G Road Utility Construction, between Spanish Trail Dr. and South Entrance into Canyon View Park
- G Road is closed to thru traffic between 24 1/2 Road and 24 Road
- Access to Canyon View Park from the 24 1/2 Road entrance of the 24 Road entrance
- Access Spanish Trail Subdivision from 24 1/2 Road using Jack Creek Road
Non-City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions
1st Street & Grand Avenue Improvement Project – CDOT
- Expect intermittent lane closures, traffic pattern changes and delays on 1st Street, I-70B and Grand Avenue
- Also expect possible side street closures with well-marked detour routes in place
- Be aware of reduced speed limit throughout the construction zone
- Access to local business’s will be provided
- Alternate route advised
- Anticipated completion – May 2022
E Road Reconstruction between 31 Road and 32 Road – Mesa County
- Expect full Road Closures with a well-marked detour route at various locations
- Be aware of the 15-mph reduced speed limit, along with increased law enforcement
- Resident access will be maintained
- Alternate Route advised
- Work hours: Monday thru Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM
- Anticipated Completion- January 2022
Orchard Avenue Gas Line Replacement between 3rd Street and 7th Street – Xcel Energy
- Orchard Ave. will be closed to through traffic for asphalt paving
- Detour route will be in place
- Resident access will be provided
- Anticipated Completion - Late August
Orchard Avenue Construction between Cannell Avenue and 10th Street - Colorado Mesa University
- Orchard Avenue will be closed to through traffic east of 7th
- Detour route will be in place
- Resident access will be provided
- Anticipated Completion - Late September
