Western Colorado Senior Games Takes Place Next Week in Grand Junction

The Parks & Recreation Department is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Western Colorado Senior Games on August 23-29, 2021! This weeklong athletic competition showcases the athleticism of over 200 athletes who are 50+ years of age. Spectators are welcome to any event. A health fair, open to the public, is also scheduled on Friday, August 27 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Attendees can receive a free skin cancer screening, COVID-19 vaccine, learn about Medicare, attend gentle yoga, and learn about other health and wellness topics.
