One in Custody After Overnight Stabbing #GVCopBeat

Grand Junction Police Department Badge

On November 16, 2021, around 10:00pm officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to 760 26 ½ Road on a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with a stab wound in his chest/abdomen area. This male was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

An investigation was conducted and detectives arrested 18-year-old Miles Crawford for First Degree Assault. Crawford was transported to Mesa County jail and booked on that charge.  

Investigation continues and there is no public safety threat to our community. All involved parties reside at 760 26 ½ Road and future updates will be provided if they are necessary.
