The Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture is excited to announce “Who We Are” - a celebration of the diverse populations in the Grand Junction area with an exhibit planned from January – June of 2023. The Call for Artists is now open and closes on December 1, 2022. Interested artists are invited to apply by submitting 1-5 electronic jpg files for the exhibit, as well as name, and contact information to Marlene Godsey at marleneg@gjcity.org.
“The ‘Who We Are’ exhibit will positively impact art in the community by creating a vibrant environment while showcasing the many talented artists who call the Grand Junction area home,” stated Marlene Godsey, Liaison of the Commission on Arts and Culture.
The “Who We Are” art exhibit is spearheaded by the Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture and the City of Grand Junction.
The Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture is dedicated to developing the quantity, quality, and affordability of arts and culture for the Grand Junction area. Since 1990, the Commission on Arts and Culture has worked to support the community’s artistic resources and cultural activities.
