Officers with the Grand Junction Police Department are investigating a death that happened in the 1000 block of Colorado Avenue on July 25, 2022.
At approximately 6:00 AM officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Colorado Avenue after a reporting party called 9-1-1 stating there was a deceased male inside the residence.
Initial investigation indicates that cause of death is suspicious in nature. At this time, there has been no suspect apprehended, but officers believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no public safety threat to our community. This case remains sealed at this time, information will be made available at a later date.
