Remember, if you haven’t yet cast your ballot and you live within City limits, you have until 7 p.m. tomorrow night, April 4 to drop it off in an official ballot box or at City Hall in the City Clerk’s office. It is too late to put it in the mail! There are five designated ballot drop box locations within city limits where voters can drop off ballots.
For your ballot to count, after placing it in the official envelope, you must fill in ALL three blanks with your printed name, your signature and the date.
The first set of unofficial election results will be posted on the City website after the polls close between 7:30 -8 p.m. Tuesday night and a second/final set between 10 p.m. and midnight after all the ballots are counted. The results will be cumulative by district. Election judges started tabulating results on April 3 so the timing of posting the second set of results will depend on how many ballots remain to count tomorrow night. The results posted tomorrow night are unofficial until the eight-day curing period has elapsed at which point the official results will be posted.
