Because you participated in City programs such as treatment for Ash Trees and Arbor Day tree seedling distribution, it is clear that you are paying attention to the tree canopy in Grand Junction.

We want to make sure you are aware of the opportunity to participate in the City of Grand Junction online survey and provide input on the development of the city’s Urban Forestry Management Plan. The Forestry Plan is designed to guide decisions and operations of the city’s forestry division. This plan will also set goals for the growth of the tree canopy in Grand Junction and provide educational resources about tree care and the benefits of trees.

The survey is available in English and Spanish and the deadline to complete the survey is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
